A Major Breakthrough in
Oxy Acetylene Welding Technology
The unique design of the DHC2000 pistol grip torch enables high-strength welding and cutting of virtually any metal, even difficult materials such as aluminum and stainless steel, with only limited operator experience and training.
The DHC2000 also enhances oxy acetylene welding capabilities of ordinary materials. For example, you can weld and cut the thinnest sheet metals with little or no distortion.
Lifetime warranty
Thorough design and US manufacturing give us the confidence to back the DHC 2000 with a lifetime warranty. In the unlikely event that your unit ever malfunctions under normal usage, from defective materials, or workmanship, we will repair or replace it for free, for as long as you own it. Now that’s guaranteed quality!

WELD LIKE A TIG
The DHC2000 is an oxy acetylene torch capable of welding, cutting, brazing, soldering, leading and preheating a variety of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, including: ALUMINUM, CAST IRON and STAINLESS
Versatility
The combination of a low velocity flame and concentrated heat deliver a new level of welding control and versatility. Since the DHC2000 operates with a flame velocity up to four times lower than a conventional torch, it prevents the molten weld puddle from "blowing out", enabling welding of difficult materials such as ALUMINUM.
Superior Control
The ergonomic pistol-grip body permits a more natural working position. A special dual tip cutting configuration separates the oxygen from the pre-heat source. this design produces narrow, square cuts that require minimal secondary cleaning. The DHC2000 efficiently cuts mild steel up to one inch thick
Fuel Efficiency
A unique mixing chamber assures optimum gas mixing for exceptionally efficient, clean burning flame. What does this mean for you? You spend less on gas!

For the past 18 yrs. I have been engaged in car restoration work and the Henrob 2000 torch (now known as the Cobra) is my best friend for welding and the air acetylene attachment for lead wiping.
The purchase of the torch was the best decision I ever made; the low pressure saves me money on gas, I find the flame is a lot softer than conventional welding torches and I have more control over the weld and it is very malleable.
I thank Phil for his honesty and supply of parts when I need them. I have not been paid for this testimonial...

I was looking to buy a TIG welder and came across the Cobra torch while looking at how to weld aluminium on YouTube. I went with the Cobra set up instead of the much more expensive TIG. After using my Cobra torch system I have found that I use it for more than I bought it for I can now silver solder very small pieces, it has all but replaced my MIG, the Cobra does just about everything from the one system. I have found that it does a perfect fusion weld and would even say it does it better than a TIG.
I initially had doubts about my ability to use the oxy system having only used a MIG in the past, having spoken to Phil from Cobra Torches Australia, I felt confident that there was help on the end of the phone if I ran into trouble.
I would recommend Cobra torches to anyone who needs to weld anything, even recommending it for people in the welding industry and the end results are perfect. ..

I was watching youtube videos about oxy welding and one of the comments mentioned Cobra torch. So then I started to research about them. Initially I was looking at the Colt 22 which is no longer made and could not find one for sale. As I have a Comet 2 which is hard to control on thin metal. After a few attempts I have started to metal weld with this torch. If you want to weld light car panels this torch works very well, I would highly recommend the Cobra for ease of use.
Welding novice I was taught how to weld about ten years ago doing repair or restoration work at TAFE. And have not do much oxy welding since.
